Digital Archiving Policy
Ensuring the long-term preservation of our scholarly content.
Our Commitment to Preservation
The Journal of Research and Review in Science (JRRS) is dedicated to the long-term preservation of its digital content. We understand the importance of ensuring that the scholarly record is maintained and accessible for future generations of researchers, scholars, and the public.
Archiving Strategy
To ensure the permanent availability and accessibility of our published content, JRRS employs the following strategies:
- Portico: All JRRS content is archived in Portico, a leading digital preservation service, to ensure that our articles will be preserved and available for future scholars and researchers.
- Institutional Repository: All published articles are deposited in the Lagos State University institutional repository, providing an additional layer of preservation and accessibility.
- Website Backups: Regular backups of the journal's website and content are maintained on secure, independent servers to protect against data loss.
Author Self-Archiving
Authors are encouraged to self-archive their published articles in their institutional or other repositories of their choice. As all articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 license, authors are free to post the final published PDF version of their article immediately upon publication, provided that a link is included to the original publication on the JRRS website.
