Journal of Research and Review in Science (JRRS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Science, Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos, Nigeria. JRRS is dedicated to the publication of innovative, science-based research that meets high standards of academic excellence. With a seasoned editorial board and a commitment to quality, the journal continues to serve as a platform for cutting-edge research across various scientific disciplines. JRRS publishes twice a year; June and December. The print ISSN is 0189-8531, while the online ISSN is 2672-4634.
As part of its updated publication policy, JRRS now publishes all accepted manuscripts in real-time. Once peer-reviewed and accepted, manuscripts are immediately assigned a DOI and published online-first, typically within two months of review. This ensures rapid visibility and access for researchers and scholars.

JRRS welcomes the submission of original, high-quality research articles, reviews, and short communications, whether solicited or unsolicited, across all areas of science and related fields. Subject areas include (but are not limited to): Agricultural Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Biosystematics, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Ecology, Entomology, Fisheries, Genetics, Horticulture, Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology, Medical Science, Science Education, Parasitology, Public Health, Pharmacology, Physics, and Zoology.
Manuscripts must meet the journal’s standards for significance, clarity, and scientific rigour. All submissions undergo a thorough peer-review process to determine suitability for publication.
